SUMMARY: EarthTime offers a graphical display of local times around the world.EarthTime is a shareware Windows application that displays local times for selected cities around the world. A flattened globe of Earth is presented with sections lit up or darkened depending on the current local time. Clouds can be shown over the continents, and a subscription allows for downloading cloud data over the Internet.
The software comes built-in with 50,000 cities and more may be added. You can define alarms based on a city's time and date, playing sounds and/or displaying messages. Other options include choosing application colors, altering the map update interval (increase it for slower computers), and starting EarthTime when Windows boots.
