Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - Disable Explorer Integration via Context Menu

SUMMARY: If your Explorer right-click menu is getting too crowded, remove Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from it.

By default, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware integrates itself with Windows Explorer via the right-click context menu. When the software is not already running, you can right-click a file (or selected group of files) and choose "Scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware" to scan the selected file(s).

If you do not frequently scan only a group of files but rely on the real-time protection or full file scanner, or if your right-click Explorer context menu is getting too crowded, you may wish to disable this integration. To do so:

1. Open Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and click the "Settings" tab.

2. Make sure the "General Settings" sub-tab is selected.

3. Uncheck "Create right click context menu".
