Underground Elephant Named Finalist in 2011 Stevie® Awards for...

Underground Elephant, a leader in online marketing and lead generation, was named a Finalist today in the National Sales Team of the Year category in the fifth annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.

The awards are presented by the Stevie® Awards, which organizes several of the world’s leading business awards shows including the prestigious American Business Awards. More than 800 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted to this year’s competition, an increase of more than 60 percent over 2010.

Underground Elephant has excelled in the education vertical as a direct result of a highly-accomplished and outstanding sales team. The sales team made a significant impact when they broke the barrier of entry into a competitive industry of more than 300 companies in June 2010. Within three months, Underground Elephant’s sales team was generating high-quality leads for the top for-profit colleges and universities in the United States and Canada.

The team continues to generate over $1 million a month in revenue and has set their 2011 goals high at $20 million in the education vertical alone. Underground Elephant expects its sales department to expand in size and add additional team members as they continue to excel and generate high revenue for the company.

Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors will select Stevie Award winners from among the Finalists during final judging, to take place January 24 - February 4. Finalists were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging.
